PROJECT Overview

Where Munnar’s Beauty Meets Luxury: Green Interio Fusion’s Seamless Glass Experience at Aura 42 by Dimora

Project Overview

A Resort Experience Framed by the Landscapes of Munnar

Munnar is one of Kerala’s most distinctive hill destinations, attracting travellers with its mist-covered mountains, tea landscapes, cool climate and natural beauty. For people visiting Munnar, staying at a resort is not simply about accommodation; it is about experiencing the atmosphere of the destination from the moment they arrive. This makes the relationship between a resort and its surroundings especially important.

Aura 42 by Dimora is a hospitality project in Munnar where the surrounding landscape becomes an important part of the overall visual experience. In such a destination, architecture has the opportunity to bring the outside environment closer to the guest. Green Interio Fusion contributed to this experience through Panoramic Glass Glazing and Shower Glass Partition works, using architectural glass to create openness, visual continuity and a contemporary resort character.

About the Project

When Munnar Becomes Part of the Interior Experience

People travel to Munnar to see the hills, greenery, changing skies and natural surroundings. A resort that visually connects its interiors with this landscape can make the destination feel like part of the stay itself.

This is where panoramic glazing becomes particularly significant. Instead of creating a strong visual boundary between the resort and its surroundings, expansive glass surfaces can allow the landscape to remain visible from within the built environment. At Aura 42 by Dimora, Green Interio Fusion’s panoramic glass work contributes to this sense of connection, allowing the architecture to interact visually with the distinctive environment of Munnar.

The project also incorporates shower glass partitions, bringing the same clean and contemporary material language into the guest-facing interior spaces. Together, these applications demonstrate how glass can serve different purposes within a hospitality environment—creating a connection with nature in one area while refining privacy and functionality in another.

APPROACH The Story

Project Execution

Creating Transparency Without Losing Architectural Definition

The execution of glass work in a resort environment requires attention to both visual appearance and spatial functionality. The objective is not simply to add glass, but to use it in a way that complements the architecture and supports the experience of the people using the space.

For Aura 42 by Dimora, Green Interio Fusion executed two key glass applications:

Panoramic Glass Glazing

The panoramic glazing forms an important visual element of the project. Its expansive character allows greater visual connection between interior spaces and the surrounding Munnar environment. The glass helps bring natural views closer to the guest experience while maintaining the contemporary appearance of the resort.

Shower Glass Partition

The shower glass partition introduces a clean architectural separation within the bathroom environment. Glass allows the space to maintain a more open visual character while providing the required division between areas. Its minimal appearance complements the contemporary hospitality setting.

Key Features

Two Glass Applications. One Connected Hospitality Experience.

  1. Panoramic Views Through Glass
Munnar's landscape is one of the strongest attractions of the destination. The panoramic glazing helps preserve this visual relationship, allowing the surrounding environment to remain part of the architectural experience.
  2. A Stronger Connection Between Inside & Outside
The use of expansive glass reduces the feeling of separation between the resort and its surroundings. The changing light, greenery and atmosphere of Munnar can remain visually connected with the interior environment.
  3.  Contemporary Shower Glass Partitions
The shower glass partitions introduce a refined and visually clean element into the guest spaces, supporting a modern hospitality aesthetic without unnecessarily closing off the interior.
  4. Glass as an Experience, Not Just a Material
At Aura 42 by Dimora, glass serves two different roles: opening the resort towards Munnar and refining the private interior environment. This makes the material an active part of the guest experience rather than simply a construction element.

Green Interio Fusion’s Contribution

Bringing the Landscape Closer Through Architectural Glass

Green Interio Fusion's contribution to Aura 42 by Dimora is centred on Panoramic Glass Glazing and Shower Glass Partition works. The combination allows the project to demonstrate the versatility of architectural glass within hospitality spaces.

The panoramic glazing focuses on openness, views and visual continuity, while the shower partitions focus on spatial definition and contemporary interior detailing. Together, they create a consistent glass language across different areas of the resort.

Project Completion

A Seamless Glass Experience Surrounded by Munnar

The completed glass works at Aura 42 by Dimora demonstrate how architectural glass can strengthen the relationship between a hospitality property and its destination. In Munnar, where the surrounding landscape is an essential part of why people travel, the ability to maintain visual contact with that environment becomes particularly meaningful.

Through panoramic glass glazing and shower glass partitions, Green Interio Fusion contributes to an environment where architecture and nature remain visually connected. The result is a contemporary resort experience in which Munnar is not simply seen from the property—it becomes part of the way the space is experienced.
